Catalog description

This course focuses on the intersection between Christianity and popular culture in the United States. Students will engage with a variety of forms of popular culture, with a focus on its meaning, value, and influence for the Christian life, as well as how ministry leaders may help others understand and evaluate popular culture. A number of popular culture sources such as film, television, social media, music, and more will be discussed.
