(Repeatable for credit) This course is designed to provide graduate students with advanced training in the art of conducting. Building upon foundational conducting techniques, students delve deeper into repertoire analysis, score study, rehearsal strategies and performance practice. Emphasis is placed on developing a refined conducting style, effective communication with musicians and a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by this medium.
