Catalog description

Throughout this course, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform a community needs assessment and organizational analysis. Students learn how to be an effective interprofessional partner across the care continuum to integrate foundational nurse practitioner knowledge into culturally competent practices to increase health promotion and disease prevention strategies and affect the care of populations. Students learn the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively and proactively coordinate resources to provide safe, quality and equitable care to diverse populations. Corequisites: NURS 64592
