SCIENTIFIC WRITING      3 Credit Hours

Catalog description

This course develops essential competencies with scholarly and scientific writing. Students complete a range of scholarly writing assignments and explore best practices and ethical standards for scientific writing and dissemination. Students conduct a search and critical appraisal of the literature, synthesize the relevant evidence and identify gaps to support a practice question (D.N.P. students) or research question (Ph.D. students). Students also engage in peer review to strengthen scholarly writing.
