Catalog description

Course focuses on developing the academic and professional skills needed for success in a rigorous graduate program. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, research methods, theatrical production processes, dramaturgy and effective teaching strategies. Students explore approaches to theatrical design, production and pedagogy, while also learning how to critically analyze dramatic works within a historical, cultural and theoretical context.
