Historical and political topics such as the Spanish transition to democracy, the post-transition disillusion, neoliberalism in Spain, Nationalisms of the periphery, and social movements like the "Indignados" or 15M may be covered. Artistic and cultural movements and genres such as "La movida Madrileña," the popular novel, and the detective novel and film noir may also be covered.
