Catalog description

Course introduces several philosophical problems via an examination of those problems and themes in works of literature. The course combines philosophical essays with works of poetry, short novels and short stories, so as to expose students to diverse perspectives on complex philosophical problems. Students with junior standing or above, who have not taken a Philosophy (PHIL) course, should contact the department for a prerequisite override.
