Catalog description

Course addresses the work of early modern philosophers such as Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Locke, Berkeley or Hume, of the early modern philosophical period. Reading assignments include primary source material. The course will identify, develop and present the differences between rationalism and empiricism as it evolved in the 17th and 18th centuries.
