D.N.P. PROJECT II: IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF EVIDENCE-BASED INTERVENTIONS

Catalog description

Course focuses on the implementation and evaluation of evidence-based interventions in healthcare and/or community settings. Students collaborate with the healthcare or community setting to complete an Institutional Review Board (IRB) review and implement the evidence-based practice project. Students apply change management and nursing theories, strategies for overcoming barriers to implementation and methods for evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. Course includes a required 250-hour practicum.
