Catalog description
In this practicum course, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to demonstrate mental health assessments, individual psychotherapy and psychopharmacologic therapies with individuals experiencing chronic or acute mental illness. Group supervision is provided. A minimum of 150 practicum hours is required. Students must be fully compliant with the College of Nursing Clinical Compliance Policy to register for this course.
