A survey course addressing the fundamental principles of clinical judgement in medication prescribing and administration necessary for diverse populations by nurses in advanced practice. This course addresses pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics of broad categories of medications, as well as patient safety, social determinants of health and legal requirements.
