Catalog description
This comprehensive course completes the evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions in primary care patients, including common chronic pediatric conditions; promotion of health and wellness of women during the reproductive years; and additional focus on family assessment and counseling. Students synthesize evidence-based practice through comprehensive care while transitioning to the professional role of the advanced practice registered nurses in the family primary care setting, with interprofessional collaboration and consultation, to improve patient care and healthcare outcomes.
