Catalog description

Introduction to the clinical nurse specialist (CNS) role to develop a foundation for equitable, evidence-based, person-centered advanced nursing care within the patient sphere of impact. Students explore the scientific and theoretical basis of interventions for health promotion and illness care in adults and gerontological patients across the care continuum. The CNS role within nursing and systems spheres of impact is introduced. S.N. degree or Adult Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist graduate certificate; and graduate standing.
