INTEGRATION OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN NURSING (ELR)

Catalog description

Course provides students with the opportunity to analyze the concepts of leadership and management in health care. The course focuses on health systems, including organizational culture and structure, leading high performing teams, human and capital resource management, delegation, clinical judgement and outcome evaluation. Course provides students with a practicum immersion experience with a preceptor in a health care setting allowing the opportunity to synthesize their nursing knowledge in preparation for their professional nursing role.
