This course is designed for double reed oboe students and music education students who have completed the woodwind technique course. The students of this course learn to grow and harvest the raw material (Arundo-Donax cane) and age the raw material in a climate-controlled area. The students learn to design and craft double reeds and produce marketable products to meet the highest performance standards.
