AUDIO RECORDING III

Catalog description

This course introduces students to Kent State University Stark studio A, where they learn modern analog and digital recording techniques on a large format analog console. Students focus on recording and editing rhythm section instruments of modern popular music ensembles. Special attention is given to recording the acoustic drum set and analyzing the effects of the acoustic environment on recorded sound.
