An overview of the professional practice of interior design and facilitates student’s entry into the profession. Topics include - issue of legal recognition of the profession and licensing; types of business formations; control and management of projects and people; legal and ethical responsibilities; and opportunities within the design profession. Students will learn self-promotion tools like portfolio preparation, and valuable interview skills to uncover how they might position themselves professionally in the rapidly changing discipline of Interior Design.
