Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth understanding of apparel manufacturing processes from product development to finished goods. With a focus on factory operations for both domestic and export markets, students explore garment construction, industrial engineering, production workflows, machinery, quality management, compliance standards and technological advancements of manufacturing. The course equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to ensure efficient, high-quality and ethical apparel production. This course is offered in Kigali, Rwanda. Students must be enrolled at Kent State's Rwanda location to receive credit.
