(Slashed with ENGR 84001 ) This course equips students with the foundational engineering knowledge required to understand, model and design digital and cyber-physical systems. Students develop skills with abstraction, problem decomposition, component interaction, algorithmic reasoning, data workflows, networking fundamentals and the societal impacts of emerging digital technologies. These skills prepare students for advanced study in cybersecurity and digital systems, and also align with competencies expected for professional licensure and educator certification examinations.
