DESCRIPTIVE GRAMMAR OF ENGLISH

(Slashed with ENG 63041 ) This course covers common and often taught aspects of grammatical structures at the sentence and discourse levels, taking into consideration lexical-grammatical connections between form, meaning and usage to maximize real-life and authentic communication for language teaching. Students gain experience developing lessons and assessments using corpus linguistic tools, identifying common learner error patterns and discussing communicative activities and techniques.
