(Slashed with ENG 65051 ) Introduces students to a range of research methodologies through theoretical scholarship and guided practice, culminating in a pilot research project. Course surveys and critically evaluates historical and contemporary studies of literacy in terms of the three dominant metaphors (adaptation, power, grace) those studies employ.
