Catalog description

(Slashed with BSCI 50270 and BSCI 70270 ) Develop knowledge of plant ecology. Learn about the abiotic and biotic effects of plant ecology. Differentiate among population ecology, metapopulation ecology and community ecology as it applies to plants. Use stage-structured population models to understand population dynamics. Learn about resource-ratio models as they apply to plant competition. Study the patterns and mechanisms of succession. BSCI 30360 and/or any courses covering plant science are recommended prior to taking this course.
