This course introduces the principles and methods of decision analysis for complex engineering and organizational systems. Students learn to apply structured decision-making frameworks, probability models, risk analysis and value trade-off techniques to evaluate alternatives under uncertainty. Case studies and applied projects highlight how decision and risk analysis support engineering design, risk management and life cycle planning.
