Explores and critically analyzes complementary and integrative health therapies, products and supplements primarily being used in the United States through a review of evidence-based research and case studies. Synthesizing the exploration of complementary and integrative health practices that are often used in conjunction with traditional Western medicine, students examine the evolving integrative health, which has also been called integrative medicine or complementary and alternative medicine.
