Catalog description

Students explore care delivery models and strategies for health promotion and disease prevention of individuals, aggregates and populations. Gaps in care and healthcare access are explored, including social, cultural, economic and policy and political barriers. The role of genomics in healthcare delivery of populations is discussed. Students develop skills to design and evaluate health promotion and disease prevention programs.
