Focusing on the making of Italian luxury fashion and artisan tradition, this course introduces students to the creative and technical possibilities of textile craft for contemporary fashion. Students are introduced to Italian craft heritage and design implementation through weekly lectures, complemented by hands-on exploration of fabric manipulation during practical workshops. The course thus balances technical skill development, creative experimentation and critical awareness of the role of craft in shaping Italian luxury fashion today.
