Catalog description

This course introduces the foundations of digital engineering as an integrated, model-driven approach to the design, analysis and life cycle management of complex systems. Students explore digital twins, system models, data interoperability and digital threads that connect requirements, design, manufacturing and sustainment. A complementary laboratory provides hands-on experience with digital engineering tools, enabling students to build, analyze and integrate digital system representations across the product life cycle.
