Theatre Careers

Catalog description

Students will prepare for the business of theatre; whether it be on the stage, in front of the camera, as technical staff, or on a production team to develop their career into a small business. Students will create a personal mission statement and a plan of action to achieve it, along with their personal goals. Assignments may include: taxes for the entertainment professional, interview techniques, cover letter construction, audition techniques, resume development, and headshots. Students will engage with business professionals for career guidance.
