Catalog description

There are many different types of Spanish spoken around the world. In this course, students explore the characteristics of these dialects (or varieties) by examining variations in accents, vocabulary, and grammar. Special emphasis is given to the study of phonetics and phonological processes so that students can improve their pronunciation and fluency as they compare and contrast different dialects.
