The Science of Managing Hazardous Material

Catalog description

This course provides students with the necessary content to obtain the OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification. The content for this certification includes the science of hazardous waste operations, federal laws, and regulations related to hazardous waste operations and emergency response. Students who complete the course with a grade of C (70%) or better will receive a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certificate. This certificate should be accepted by any employer working in a field where the 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification is needed.
