Capstone Internship in Psychology

Catalog description

This course is a structured off-campus experience in a supervised setting that is chosen in relation to the student’s major and interests. Practical experience is combined with a research approach that investigates issues relevant to the internship. Students meet with the internship coordinator to develop an appropriate plan that leads to writing and presenting a research-oriented paper that integrates prior academic experiences in psychology, a requirement of the capstone experience.
