Directed Study: Capstone Independent Research Project

Catalog description

This directed study capstone experience serves as the culmination of students’ undergraduate experience in psychology. Under the guidance of a faculty member, students integrate perspectives and topics explored throughout their studies to conduct an original research project that prepares students for their future academic, professional, or applied endeavors. Students will apply academic knowledge and skills to develop a literature review, formulate research questions and hypotheses, apply appropriate methodologies, collect and analyze data, and communicate findings in both written and oral formats.
