In this seminar course, students explore the nurse’s role within healthcare systems, emphasizing systems thinking, quality improvement, and policy advocacy. Students will analyze how delivery models, regulation, and accreditation influence nursing practice and outcomes. Through interprofessional collaboration and healthcare technology, learners will evaluate and propose evidence-based strategies to improve care quality, safety, and efficiency. The course also examines cost-effectiveness and the impact of leadership in addressing system-level challenges, preparing students to drive change across diverse healthcare environments.
