In this course, students learn to perform comprehensive and focused health assessments across the lifespan. They develop skills in collecting health histories, conducting physical exams, identifying priority findings, and selecting assessments based on patient needs. Students apply therapeutic communication with patients and families, use standardized tools to communicate with the healthcare team, and document findings accurately.
