Catalog description

In this course, students apply core nursing concepts, develop essential patient care skills, and cultivate professional and ethical behaviors. Emphasis is placed on clear, therapeutic, and professional communication with patients, families, and interprofessional healthcare teams to ensure safe, person-centered care. Students develop clinical judgment to assess patients, implement evidence-based care, and evaluate outcomes in diverse populations. Experiential learning takes place in the skills lab, simulation lab, and various community settings.
