Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles, methods, and applications of research and assessment in music therapy. Students will explore qualitative and quantitative research designs, evidence-based practices, and ethical considerations in clinical work. Emphasis is placed on analyzing scholarly literature and applying research findings to clinical practice. Students will also gain hands-on experience with assessment tools and techniques used to evaluate client needs, track progress, and measure treatment outcomes.
