Catalog description

This course introduces theories, principles, and methods of music therapy practice. Students explore the therapeutic relationship, clinical applications of music across populations, and the integration of psychological and physiological concepts into treatment planning. Emphasis is placed on historical and contemporary models of music therapy, ethical standards of practice, and developing observation, assessment, and intervention skills.
