This course serves as an introduction to the field of critical mental health theory and practice. The course focuses on key foundational frameworks that define the field of critical mental health as an alternative to mainstream approaches to mental health. The curriculum for this course reviews the key theoretical literature in the field of critical mental health. The course explores key alternative movements of neurodiversity and advocacy being developed in the 21st century.
