Catalog description

This culminating capstone experience challenges students to integrate and apply interdisciplinary knowledge, skills, and values gained throughout the Health and Physical Activity Leadership program. Through immersive internships, critical observation, scholarly research, and reflective practice, students will explore and evaluate leadership strategies that promote health and physical activity across varied populations and settings. Emphasizing real-world impact, students will synthesize insights from academic and experiential learning to develop innovative, community-responsive approaches. The course prepares students to articulate their leadership philosophy and present evidence-based solutions that advance wellness and movement initiatives in professional and civic contexts.
