This course engages students in collaboration with industry partners to address real-world FinTech challenges. Students work with industry mentors to identify FinTech needs, formulate client defined problem statements, design, and iteratively validate business solutions through continuous feedback loops, and present professional recommendations. Guided by industry mentors and business decision-makers who share day-to-day operational activities, current challenges, and emerging trends, students gain applied skills that mirror professional practice in today’s digital financial ecosystem. Students gain professional experience, and organizations benefit from innovative, “outside the box,” perspectives generated by students - creating a mutually beneficial, win-win collaboration between academia and industry.
