Catalog description

The Capstone Project serves as the culminating experience of the Master of Science in Population Health Sciences program, integrating advanced knowledge, research skills, and professional readiness. Under faculty mentorship, students design and execute an evidence-based project that addresses a significant issue in Population Health Sciences and health services research, such as pharmaceutical care practice management and leadership, clinical and regulatory affairs, health economics and outcomes, or health equity-related therapeutic access and safety policy. The capstone demonstrates the student’s ability to apply scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and ethical reasoning to improve economic, clinical, and humanistic outcomes. Final deliverables typically include a written report or manuscript and an oral or virtual presentation suitable for professional dissemination.
