VIP (Value of Industry Pharmacists) Case Competition Preparation

Catalog description

This elective course prepares students to compete in the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO) Value of Industry Pharmacists (VIP) Case Competition. Students work in functional area teams (clinical development, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, patient advocacy, and marketing/market access) to build a cohesive product development plan bringing a novel molecule to market, culminating in a Midpoint Submission, a Challenge Point response, and a Final Submission (video and slide deck). The course develops literature evaluation, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and oral/written presentation skills relevant to pharmaceutical industry practice.
