Catalog description

This required course provides the student structured, supervised pharmacy practice experience in a community pharmacy setting. Students engage in direct patient and healthcare provider interactions, develop skills using medication processing systems, and build professional identity. Students will integrate and apply knowledge from the first year of didactic curriculum and, under direct supervision, participate in the provision of care to patients within the scope of community or retail pharmacy practice. This course is taken in the summer or fall of the P-2 Year.
