An integrated study of anatomy, pathophysiology, physical assessment, pharmacology, therapeutics, clinical pharmacokinetics, patient care, pharmacoeconomic issues, medication use in special populations, and review of pertinent drug literature as they relate to the digestive system and nutrition therapy. In addition, optimal nutrition for healthy adults and children will be reviewed.
