This 0.5-unit asynchronous course is designed to support students in finalizing preparation for the Doctoral Capstone Experience prior to beginning Term 8. Students will work closely with the Capstone Coordinator to review progress, confirm readiness, and complete essential capstone requirements. Course activities include updating and refining key preparatory assignments such as the literature review, needs assessment, experiential learning plan, and IRB materials as applicable. Students will also verify communication with capstone sites and ensure orientation, onboarding, compliance, and site-specific requirements are completed or have a plan for completion before the start of the capstone experience. Emphasis is placed on professional communication, project readiness, and successful transition into the Doctoral Capstone Experience. Upon completion of the course, students will have finalized all major preparatory components and be prepared to begin their capstone experience and project implementation. * Effective with the 2026–27 Academic Catalog (Class of 2029), this course is .5 credits. Students in the Classes of 2027 and 2028 follow the previous 0 credit version.
