Catalog description

An individualized learning experience designed to allow graduate occupational therapy students to pursue advanced study in a specialized area of interest not fully addressed within the standard curriculum. Under the guidance of a faculty mentor, students develop and complete a scholarly, clinical, educational, leadership, or research-focused project with clearly defined learning objectives and outcomes. Course activities may include literature review, program development, research participation, advanced clinical inquiry, or other approved activities relevant to occupational therapy practice and scholarship. Enrollment requires approval of both the faculty mentor and program director prior to registration. Written proposals may be requested prior to acceptance.
