Research and Evidence in Occupational Therapy Practice I serves as an introduction to understanding the value and importance of scholarship and evidence for supporting the profession. The course addresses research design and methods, the process of literature review, quantitative statistics, and qualitative analysis for the initial steps of designing and implementing a scholarly study. As relevant for human-subject research, educational research, or research related to population health, the course considers the importance of ethical policies and procedures.
