THEATRE INTERNSHIP II

Catalog description

Students will gain work experience and training outside the classroom setting in their discipline, under the dual supervision of an instructor and appropriate personnel at an internship site, allowing students to integrate classroom learning with work-related experiences to help prepare them for careers. Through the academic program, students will identify possible internship opportunities, obtain approval for course registration, and with the course instructor, obtain internship sponsor commitment. Internships are negotiated between the academic program and the supervisor within the host organization. A record of the internship will be entered into College Central. May be repeated for credit, up to a total of 12 credits. Prerequisite: Minimum of 65 completed credit hours and minimum of 3.0 GPA or permission of instructor.
