ADVANCED VOICE AND MOVEMENT FOR THE ACTOR

Catalog description

This course will expand upon principles from both THE 2110 Movement for the Actor and THE 3145 Voice for the Performer courses and introduce new approaches in ensemble devising with “Actor as Creator” as a key principle. Daily exercises and assignments are designed to expand both the students’ experiences in the foundational courses and the students’ imagination for developing complex characters through a generative, vocal, and psychophysical approach to acting.
