Catalog description
This is the second course in a two-course sequence. Participation in this course will provide students with theory and knowledge related to general social work practice. Emphasis will be on intervention and evaluation with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Students will understand how knowledge, skills, values, critical thinking, and reflection facilitate effective intervention and evaluation with clients. Students will also consider multi-cultural and environmental influences in intervention and evaluation. (Previously NJCU Course SWK-411)
